ERIC HIGGINS
Eric Graduated with a BSc in Applied Physics and Instrumentation from Cork Institute of Technology (CIT) in 2013 and was awarded the International Society of Automation (ISA) Honours Degree Award the same year. Much like many of his classmates Eric found employment within days of graduating and is currently employed as a Product Development Engineer for a leading Instrumentation Company. Eric is also undertaking a part-time masters by research with the Centre for Advanced Photonics and Process Analytics (CAPPA) in CIT where he is investigating and developing an improved instrument for the measurement of moisture in process powders aimed at the Dairy and Pharmaceutical Industry

RAYMOND WOLFE: AUTOMATION ENGINEER
Raymond Wolfe is currently researcher with the Centre for Advanced Photonics and Process Analytics (CAPPA) in Cork Institute of Technology. He received a BSc degree in Applied Physics and Instrumentation from Cork Institute of Technology (CIT) and was awarded the International Society of Automation (ISA) Technologist award during his undergraduate studies.  He joined Eli Lilly in 1991 and during his career worked as a Process Automation Engineer, IT Professional and Instrument Engineer.  He also worked as consultant working with other companies in the pharmaceutical industry.  His current interest lie in the use of spectroscopic techniques applied to material characterisation for industrial applications.
